12 months of Zebra – a look back on 2024
(Posted on 16/12/24)
2024 has proved another busy year for us here at Zebra, and we have been thrilled to be involved in coordinating, developing and assisting with so many of our clients’ one-off and ongoing projects.
From initiating new websites, generating PR, and hosting and attending events, to social media development, awards, exhibitions, films, rebrands, conferences, AGMs, newsletters, surveys, books and much more!
Here’s a selection of some of our favourite achievements from our clients, both old and new, over the last 12 months:
January
We start at January, when our communications manager Kathryn Walsh discovered the fascinating history of our Zebra HQ - our base was originally called The Cocoa Rooms and served drinking chocolate to the community!
February
It was lights, camera, action for our director Clara Hughes when she joined Knew Productions to create a new video for our client Royal HaskoningDHV at Pyewipe, Grimsby.
March
In March, Clara and our account director Maggie Austen attended our client TSA - The Survey Association’s AGM at the magnificent Silverstone racetrack and learned how to do a Pit Stop in style!
April
It was marathon time in April for some fantastic supporters of our wonderful client Stick ‘n’ Step. Local media provided some great coverage of their fundraising efforts too.
May
In May, Maggie and Kathryn helped our client TSA - The Survey Association’s members to ‘Get the Measure of Marketing’ by delivering a seminar to a group of surveyors, representing land surveying firms from across the UK, at the Jaguar Experience Centre in Birmingham.
June
Time really flies when we look back to June, when we celebrated our first year since we moved into our new office in Rossett! Located just outside Wrexham and near to Chester, our base offers essential links to these historic cities.
July
Back in July, we enjoyed celebrating our client Jeff Hardman’s 25 years of running Barnhill Consulting, with a business event held at the Cock O' Barton in Cheshire.
August
August was the wettest month of the summer, but also the time we were celebrating the launch of client IEC – Innovative Energy Consultancy’s new website. We also welcomed Highstream Solutions aboard as a new client too.
September
We recall September as a busy month for the agency. We enjoyed another Vox Magazine networking event, celebrated our client CB Homes winning Best Brick Home in the Build It Awards 2024, and we were thrilled for Liam Hanlon, managing director of our client The Forshaw Group, when he successfully summited Mount Kilimanjaro – what an achievement!
October
October was really a time to shine, when we enjoyed a wonderful evening surrounded with fine jewellery and great company at Boodles in Chester with our client Career Evolution, celebrating 14 years in business in style!
November
In November, Clara took to the stage at the Wrexham Business & Community Awards to present the award for Creativity. Congratulations again to all the winners at this glittering event! And Maggie attended Stick ‘n’ Step’s amazing Strictly night at Thornton Hall Hotel on the Wirral.
December
Our client Abbey England celebrated up and coming talent through its annual Abbey England Scholarship, now in its seventh year. We were pleased to announce the winner to the press as the talented leatherworker Katy Warriner, of Warriner Leather.
We are now finishing off our 2024 projects and formalising our plans for 2025. We have certainly enjoyed looking back on an amazing year!
The team has also celebrated ‘the most wonderful time of the year’ together, with a delicious meal at Fouzi’s here in Rossett.
So, it seems like a good time to wish all our clients, partners, suppliers and friends a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Team Zebra looks forward to seeing you all again next year in 2025!
