Watching the build process with CB Homes Ltd

Our client CB Homes has been designing and building award-winning homes since 1981. From prestigious self-build projects, to distinctive developments and exclusive barn conversions, each bespoke home is built to the highest professional standards. 

We were commissioned to provide marketing support to CB Homes, with particular focus on its self-build service. CB Homes delivers a complete self-build package from initial design, through planning and the final build itself. When we heard that a couple had approached CB Homes to build them a stunning house, having selected its complete turnkey package, we knew we had an unbeatable opportunity to follow their housebuilding journey from start to finish.

We decided to record a video journal of the whole self-build experience, from the foundations being dug to the homeowners moving into their beautiful new home. The luxury house that has now been built combines traditional design with eye-catching contemporary elements, making it an ideal subject to film.

With the kind collaboration of the homeowners, we visited the site half a dozen times over the progress of the build, accompanied by a highly experienced cameraman. We conducted interviews on every visit which were filmed and skilfully edited by our partner videographer at Knew Productions. After each visit, we posted short clips of the films on CB Homes’ social media and wrote monthly blogs about how the project was progressing. As well as showcasing CB Homes’ service and skill, each blog was also an opportunity to inform and educate potential self-builders about the process and challenges of building your own home.

It was very exciting for the Zebra team to see the construction of a beautiful home from start to finish and share the homeowners’ enjoyment of realising their dream.
